Hacienda Nicholas

This enchanting B&B offers guests a true taste of the Southwest.

Enjoy a great night’s sleep in our beds of feather and down. Unwind in the peace and tranquility afforded by extra thick adobe walls or go one step further and experience sublime bliss next door at our award-winning Absolute Nirvana Spa. Savor the luscious scents from our heavenly rose garden and partake of delectable Southwestern inspired breakfasts, using organic and natural ingredients, and afternoon wine & cheese. Let our dedicated staff help you make the most of Santa Fe so you can have the holiday you deserve.

This historic adobe home, built around a gem of a garden courtyard filled with roses, wisteria, iris and geraniums, provides an ideal setting for a leisurely breakfast. Savor Southwestern frittatas or enchiladas, French toast or blue corn waffles, along with an abundant offering of cheeses, yogurt, homemade breads, muffins and granola, fresh fruit salad and more. In warmer weather birds sing in the trees as sunlight filters through the leaves. An outdoor kiva fireplace takes the chill out of the air on cooler days. For relaxing indoors, an over-sized fireplace warms the enormous “great room” with its 20 foot ceilings, vigas, and hand-toweled plaster walls. Sit on the overstuffed couches in front of the fire or at one of the large wooden common tables as you nibble from the platters of homemade cookies, brownies and other teatime treats. Guests also love our early evening wine & cheese hour. The décor throughout the house features New Mexican furnishings and artwork. Adobe walls are painted soft shades of sunlight. Lace curtains shade the windows, lovely Bauman prints grace the walls. The seven bedrooms are furnished with graceful wrought iron or beautiful wooden four poster beds, private baths decorated with charming Mexican tiles, telephones with voicemail, cable TV and air conditioning. Three of the rooms are especially romantic, with king-size beds, fireplaces, and doorways onto the courtyard.
